“I unreservedly state that this course has value. The person who put this package together should feel really pleased. Right firm, right instructor, right content and a good mix of attendees made this course achieve its aim”.

“This is a tremendous result. 949 people through the course in 8 weeks!  Well done indeed, to your staff and the WesternTeam”.

“The trainer was first class and made everybody feel at ease throughout the day, please pass on my comments to the trainer because every one who attended yesterday thought the same.”

“The standard of the course was very high. The trainer was professional throughout the day and quickly put the group at ease …..he demonstrated a greater knowledge of the rail industry than would normally be expected of an external trainer.”

“ I attended a Safety Critical Communications Course at the Birmingham New Street Station, Power Signal Box on March 19 2007. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the instructor, for which I am sorry. I am hoping you can find out who the instructor was and pass the following onto him, with my thanks.

I was at home one afternoon a few weeks ago, working in the garden, when I realized a helicopter was in trouble with an engine failure. I rang the Emergency Services on the house telephone, just as the helicopter crashed. I could not give them many details because of the distance between me and the crash site, a golf course and an obscured view. To enable me to give them more details I agreed to run down to the crash site with my mobile, and the Emergency services control room would ring me back.

As I approached the crash site I realised I was running into the unknown, perhaps fire, deaths etc. my mind was racing and I was starting to feel really nervous. I them started to remember your course and the guidance given in it. This helped to calm me down and prepare me for what may be waiting me around the next corner. I was prepared to help and had been trained well. The Emergency services control room rang me back just as arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, there was no fire. The only person in the helicopter the pilot was already out and had no serious injury. He had been incredibly lucky. Keeping your guidance in mind I was able to give the Emergency services all the information they ask for. It was no more difficult than the practical exercise we went through on the course. At the end of the call the Emergency Services stressed a thank you and well done.

A proud moment for me but due mainly to the great instruction given by your instructor”.
