The Rail Industry

We are a major service provider to the rail industry and specifically to Network Rail. We are currently delivering safety critical voice communications training to railway industry personnel from over 50 companies across the UK.  We are also delivering leadership training to over 600 front line managers annually from Network Rail and train operating companies. Our other customers include Babcok Rail, Carillion, Balfour Beatty, SERCO, Siemens, Alstom and Westinghouse

A principal offering to the rail industry is the provision of a voice communications coaching capability targeted at the PICOP, Engineering Supervisor (ES) and COSS roles. This capability is currently available throughout the UK.

We are also the sole source for the Practical Leadership Programme in which we are investing front line leaders with the skills and confidence to tackle the challenges of an increasingly busy Railway in order to further improve performance and safety.

The Police

We are currently providing training development services to the British Transport Police. Specific service includes the design, development and delivery of a leadership assessment and follow-on training package.

UK Border Agency

Benchmark is currently carrying out a 9 month project with the UK Border Agency to assist UKBA staff in tracing and locating missing personnel. This pilot is a test bed for new thinking, and a prime example of a mentoring and managed service provision.
